Back in the Studio

As I compose the following thoughts – thoughts that will at some point become ‘entry no. 1’ for our new Crowned Heads blog – I have much on my mind and wonder about a lot.

I wonder….WHEN will this blog see the light of day?
I wonder….WHEN will our company site go live?
I wonder….HOW our new cigar will be received in the marketplace?  WHEN will it be in the marketplace??  WHY do they call it a “marketplace?” (sounds like an open-air bazaar full of chickens and goats)…

So by the time this blog gets uploaded to the worldwide web, word on the street will probably be out that we’re ‘back in the studio’ again, diligently working to take our premium cigar vision to fruition, and share it with you.  Can’t tell you much more than that–right now.  But I can tell you that it feels damned good to be free of the corporate chains and chokehold that was our dear friends we knew and loved (I say that with tongue firmly planted in cheek) as “ST Group.”

April 15, 1996, is a date that I hold dear in my heart; it was my first day working at CAO.  December 17, 2010, is also a date that I will always hold dear in my heart–it was my last day at CAO.  The days in between were filled with people and experiences I will always cherish.  We had a good ride; it’s unfortunate that greed found its way across the pond and ruined that ride–on many different levels.

But enough about the past–our sights are focused on the future and all that it holds.  We have a new vision, a new purpose, and a whole new outlook.  So sit back, fasten your seatbelt, and come along for the ride!
