The changing climate of Crowned Heads

There’s been a dramatic shift in the weather here in Nashville the last couple of days. The heat wave that has gripped much of the country for what seems like an eternity has finally broken – We’ve literally gone from highs near 100ª to highs in 60’s and 70’s (along with some much welcome rain) overnight… pretty drastic change, and it feels good.

It occurred to me this afternoon that this change is not unlike the changing climate we’re experiencing as a company here at Crowned Heads. We’re about to embark on phase two – where we go from being purely a startup, focused on laying the groundwork for what we hope will be a long  and prosperous journey, to an actual operating company with new and uncharted waters to navigate. As we await the first shipment of cigars which are in production now, we’ve had lots of discussions here about how this climate change will effect everyone’s responsibilities – namely in the area of customer service – an aspect of doing business that we feel is just as important as the quality of the cigars we produce. It all adds up to some pretty drastic changes to what daily life is like here at Crowned Heads, and it feels good..
