It feels strange not to be in Las Vegas this week (although you wouldn’t know it from the heat we’ve had in Nashville lately). This is the first time in 10 years that I haven’t had my summer dominated by attending and (mostly) the preparation leading up to the IPCPR show. I’ve become used to having this time of the year represent a frenzied rush of activity, crossing things off lists, sleepless nights nights wondering if we’ve forgotten something, then the show (more sleepless nights) followed by a much needed vacation.. Not this year. From the outside, things might appear to be quiet around here right now, in stark contrast to what I imagine our friends in Vegas are experiencing.
Even though it seems quiet now, it’s really not – things are coming together. We’ve been smoking sample blends for some time now, getting feedback from some of our trusted friends’ palettes. The time we’ve taken to do this the right way, not to rush, is paying off. We’re narrowing in on the blend more every day, and it’s getting CLOSE.
When the time is right, and it won’t be much longer, things will be busy again, and we are ready for it! For now I’m going to enjoy the relative peace and quiet of my non-casino environment while I enjoy a cigar.
Great news
good times are coming.
